tell us your background as a stylist:

I did my first haircut on myself when I was 4 years old. I had the shortest most crooked bangs ever with a kindergarten picture to prove it. My 2nd haircut was on Barbie. She was the “radiant in red” series and had super long hair. I chopped it all off and tried to hide the evidence under my bedroom rug from my parents. I think I’ve always wanted to be a stylist and eventually started beauty school and graduated Paul Mitchell the School in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2011. I assisted for an amazing stylist named Anna at a previous salon for 2 years in South O.C. and built my clientele. Im so lucky I’m able to work beside her again now at The House Salon along with so many other amazing stylists. I’m always continuing my education and try to take at least 1-2 new classes every year. I specialize in blondes, balayage, extensions, and Keratin treatments.

what brought you to the house salon?

I had been actively looking for another salon feeling uninspired and not much room for growth for myself in my career at that time. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to be whether I wanted to do a studio suite or find another salon. I used to work and assist for another stylist Anna at the start of my career who I consider an amazing friend and mentor. She had moved to The House a year prior. She encouraged me to come check out The House Salon and mentioned how everyone is so supportive of each other. She said she felt inspired by different stylists everyday. I felt that’s what I needed. I walked in and instantly fell in love. The energy was so warm and inviting, and I loved how uplifting the owners were. Every stylist here is so talented and no one is afraid to share their ideas and encourage one another to be successful. I feel like I learn from someone everyday by just being here. “The greatest success we’ll ever know is helping others succeed and grow.” Fast forward I love it here and have a few stylist friends that also moved here as well. I’m so thankful for all the love and support I receive daily at The House Salon.
